Domestic Air Tightness Testing / Air permeability Testing
Since 2006 all newly built domestic dwellings have been required to demonstrate compliance with Approved Document L which governs the ‘conversation of fuel and power in new dwellings’.
This is achieved by undertaking a schedule of air tightness testing, also known as air permeability testing, or simply air testing for short.
The testing process is undertaken once the development nears completion, and our air tightness engineers will be able to talk you through the results on-site, and offer remedial work advice should it be necessary.
